What Verified company means

Our team checks every buyer and supplier before they can post a request or send a quote. We check the trade licence or company registration with the authority that issued it, that the company's name and activities match it, and that the person signing up uses an email on the company's own domain. For suppliers in China we check the business licence and its registration number.

Each badge says what was checked and on what date. Verification is free and can't be bought. It confirms the company is real and licensed. It doesn't cover product quality.

How we rank suppliers

Search results are sorted by how well a supplier matches the words you searched for, then by the tier it earned, then by its rating and how fast it replies. You can sort by rating, reply time or newest instead.

Requests go to suppliers matched by the category you need, where they deliver and how they reply. Nobody can pay to rank higher or to be sent more requests.

How tiers are earned

Silver, Gold and Platinum come only from a supplier's record on Korrway: how often it answers requests, how many orders it delivers on time, its buyer ratings and whether its documents are checked. Tiers are worked out again every night, so they go down as well as up.

How featured listings work

Suppliers can pay to appear in a featured strip at the top of browse and search pages. Featured suppliers are always labelled Featured, and there are never more than two at once.

Paying never changes which suppliers get your requests, where suppliers appear in the results under the strip, or the order quotes are shown in. Featured suppliers go through the same checks as everyone else.

Ratings

Only a buyer who received an order through Korrway can rate that supplier, once per order, on the product, delivery on time and communication. An average of the last 12 months shows once a supplier has 3 ratings in that time, always with how many there are. We never hide or edit a rating.

Prices and privacy

Every quote is sealed: a supplier sees only its own price, never anyone else's, and never who won. Suppliers a request goes to see the buyer's company name, but never its email or phone: they reply on Korrway. Korrway takes no commission from either side.

Report a company

If a company asks you to pay outside Korrway's records, isn't who it says it is, sends spam or sells counterfeit goods, tell us at contact@korrway.com with the company's name. We look at every report and can suspend a company while we check.
